CEN provides free representation* for parents and carers at school-based governor disciplinary committee meetings (GDCs) and independent review panels (IRPs) in order to challenge educational exclusions.
Parents may feel overwhelmed and intimidated when asked to attend appeals and meetings alone. Our advocates will support you at these and other school-based meetings such as reintegration.
When possible our advocates will communicate with both you and your child ahead of such meetings in order to be fully prepared.
